Final Interview!

Finishing up some last minute paper work so I can be assigned a Placement Officer!
So excited! I will know where I'm going by the second week of August by the latest but hopefully sooner!

After I send in these papers I'll have a final interview with my PO and be placed and sent an official invitation. Can't wait!!!

Guidelines and Tips for Sending Mail

1. The larger the package the more I have to pay for it so the smaller the better.
2. Be sure to write PCV or Peace Corps Volunteer on the package so I don't have to pay as much for my mail.
3. Padded envelopes work well.
4. Write in read ink, Education and Religious materials on the packages to discourage officials from opening the mail. You can also write religious passages on it as well.
5. Don't send an item over $10 in value.
6. If you send a postcard put it in an envelope so I am more likely to receive it instead of the post office.

Items to send:
LETTERS!
Powdered drink mixes, spices, cheese for mac and cheese (not the microwaveable kind because I have no electricity)
Granola bars
Hard candies (things that won't melt ie: nerds, skittles, MINTS smarties, jolly ranchers, blow pops with gum, runts, laffy taffy etc)
Chocolate (m&ms, peanut m&ms do make it just fine and chocolate chips)
Pictures
Antibacterial hand gel
School supplies (markers, pens, pencils)
Stickers
Dell Logic Problems
CDs/movies to update my music collection (on flash drive or memory cards)
Spices (garlic powder, Cajun spices, cilantro, oregano, spicy garlic sauce from buffalo wild wings, etc)
